How It Works

The fastest way to start: say "Hey Siri, SayMail" — no unlocking, no typing, no navigating menus.

App opens — recording starts immediately You have up to 30 seconds to speak your message.

Speak your message Say anything — a reminder, an idea, a to-do, a safety check-in. SayMail listens without interruption.

Shake or tap Send (ends recording and sends) or
Do nothing after speaking (after 30 seconds total, it sends) SayMail plays a tone to confirm, transcribes your words, and sends the email automatically.

Just tap on Record Now or say - 'Siri, open Saymail' to create another message or tap 'Home Screen' or swipe up to close Your message(s) will be waiting in your inbox.

Enable Auto-record when already open in Settings and SayMail goes straight into recording every time, so you can record multiple mesasges as the thoughts arrive — even if the app was already running in the background.

SayMail includes a built-in emergency feature designed for situations where you cannot ask for help openly.

How the emergency feature works

Set a secret trigger phrase — something only you know, like "This is an emergency" or any word you choose, like "sassafras". Set an Emergency CC contact: a trusted person, family member, or caregiver.

When SayMail hears the trigger phrase, it silently copies your emergency contact on the email
Your exact GPS coordinates are automatically attached as a Google Maps link
The phone can be tossed aside trigggering the sending immediately
The app immediately opens a black error screen with no reference to SayMail while the message is sent silently in the background
